Current Location I'm blogging from: My office while waiting for my final meeting of the day to start...
Current song that's on my iPod: Here's Where the Story Ends by the Sundays...
The next song that's coming up......(almost there).....is:.....Frontin' (remix) by Pharell & Jay-Z
The last person I told about my weblog: Ranjana
Last song I downloaded: Canon in D as played by Shankar G (ask me for a copy- it's brilliant)
Last sport I played: Football on the beach
This weekend's amazing feat: Watching 4 movies yesterday: Minority Report, Pirates of the Caribbean, Open Range, X-2:X-Men United, and some of Dumb and Dumber...
Today's feelgood movie: Bend it Like Beckham...I have a crush on Parminder Nagra...My gut tells me I could get along with her and she me..... :)...If anyone knows her, an introduction would be most appreciated....:)
Although if I may launch into soliloquy, I hate seeing parts of that movie - especially when I see so many stereotypes (which I know is part of the movie's subtle charm) of Indian people...it's disturbing and somewhat sad to know that someone with such talent can be so oppressed...oppression just irks the hell out of me to no end...
...Stubhy from Lucky Boys Confusion wrote a good song called "Fred Astaire" that came to mind after watching BILB again...
I'm fortunate enough to have parents that were strict, fair, loving, and very supportive of me...they never suppressed - they guided....how else can you explain that dad comes to watch me DJ and my mom sings with my brother's band?
anyways...back to the audience...
Funniest Friendster email that I got today (from Rabab -read the chain of emails):

growing erosion problem of our forests' nutrient-rich topsoil....we have one song called "Gentle Warrior" which is about one man's battle to save a rattlesnake from a Mexican poacher, only to be bitten by the snake and die from the venom...
We're working on a song for abortion clinics that we've tentatively titled "You Can Hate me, Just don't Blow Me Up"....we're in negotations to having DJ Tiesto do a club remix of it...
